Ronson promises "eccentric" Chiefs LP

Mark Ronson has described the Kaiser Chiefs' new album as an "eccentric record".

The DJ, who co-produced the LP with Elliot James, said he was impressed by the band's approach to their third album.

"It's quite a bizarre, eccentric record for such a huge rock band, that's so mainstream, to make - in a good way," he told the BBC.

"It's got some elements of Talking Heads and Tom Tom Club and Go Gos and The Move and ELR."

He added: "I'm just really excited about that record. It's great and it's something we kind of did quickly.

"They wrote some amazing songs and me and Elliot James, who produced the record with me, were here to just make sure it sounded raw."

Tracks expected to feature on the currently-untitled LP include 'Never Miss A Beat', 'You Want History', 'Half The Truth' and 'Cant Say What I Mean'.

The follow-up to 2007's Yours Truly, Angry Mob is scheduled for release in October.

Norwegian black metallic element band Taake is principally the work of vocaliser and multi-instrumentalist U. Høst, wHO founded the group in 1993 amid the blizzard of church service burnings and other crimes virtually responsible for launching the vista. Recruiting drummer Svartulv, o'er the following three eld Høst recorded a serial of demos steeped in ancient Viking traditional knowledge and ruthlessly brutal black metal values. Finally debuting commercially in 1996 with the Koldbrann I Jesu Marg E.P. (featuring new drummer/bassist Tundra), Taake went on to discharge two uncut albums, 1999's Nattestid and 2002's Bjoergvin, before Høst left hand to join companion Norwegian black metallers Ragnarok as vocalist.

Fergie's mother denies pregnancy reports

Singer Fergie's mother has denied media speculation that her daughter is pregnant.
Speaking on Ryan Seacrest's radio show on KIIS FM, Terri Ferguson responded to the baby rumours by saying: "Nope, not at all."
Fergie's mother then added: "Did you see her at the Grammys?", describing her 32-year-old daughter as "skinny, skinny, skinny".
Recent media reports suggested that the singer, real name Stacy Ferguson, had decided to change her wedding date.
However, Terri Ferguson dismissed these reports, saying: "We are not moving up the wedding."
"I think people can't believe people do get married just because they love each other, not because they are pregnant," she said.
